Bala lauds Vishal

Most actors consider their careers incomplete if they have not worked with Bala. But the director however reacts saying, "It's a big compliment for me and at the same time, I feel I have a huge responsibility too."

Talking about his current film 'Avan Ivan', Bala says, "I agree that all my films so far have been dark, but this one has some hilarious scenes." The film is about two thieves in a village and revolves around their families. For a particular scene, Vishal had to jump from a great height without support.

"He hurt his hands thrice while shooting, but ended doing it superbly," Bala says, adding, "Vishal worked very hard as he plays a character with squint eyes. He deserves an award."
