Bala to direct Vikram?

Actor Vikram got his big break in Kollywood under director Bala's tutelage in the path-breaking 'Sethu'. And then, Chiyaan Vikram - as he came to be known - got several accolades when he teamed up with the same filmmaker in 'Pithamagan'. Now, if sources are to be believed, it looks like the two might team up for a project in the near future.

Bala dropped a hint about a possible film collaboration when he spoke at a recent press conference. "Vikam's performance in 'Deiva Thirumagal' was exemplary," he said, "I knew I'd cry after watching the film, so I booked an entire box just for myself. I hope we work again."

A source reveals, "Vikram is quite keen on working with Bala again. Talks are on but it remains to be seen if Bala will come up with a script and role that will suit the actor." Bala's last outing at the Box Office was 'Avan Ivan'. While Bala still needs a story, Vikram has to work out his dates considering he has other projects on hand.
