Bala's 'Avan Ivan' gets U/A certificate

Post the success of 'Naan Kadavul', Bala has finished the new film titled 'Avan Ivan' with Arya, Vishal, Madhu Shalini and Janani Iyer in the lead. Bala has the style of making his films in a different mode. But it seems that he made this film in his unusual style giving importance to commercial ingredients. Moreover he had completed 'Avan Ivan' in a short span of time.

Arya and Vishal have donned different type of roles. Especially Vishal has donned the role of a transgender in the film. The final copy of this film was sent to Censor Board for certification. The members who saw the film had asked Bala to cut some scenes so that they can grant a U certificate.

But the director reportedly said that those scenes were important and if it is deleted, the film will lose its significance. Because of this reason, the film was awarded an U/A certificate.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music. Kalpathi S Agoram has produced this film, which is to hit the screens on 20th May.
