Bappi Lahiri's song is highlight of 'Karuppampatti'

Aug 20, 2012 PGV

Bollywood composer and singer Bappi Lahiri’s ‘Naughty Raja Raja’ takes the cake in the five-track audio of ‘Karuppampatti’ produced by Sundar K and directed by Prabhu Raja Chozhan. This is the first time Bappi Lahiri has rendered a song in Tamil.

The music director is Kannan. The audio was released recently by director S.A. Chadrasekharan and received by Abirami Ramanathan.

The makers tried their best to get Katy Perry to dance to Bappi Lahiri’s song in a kaleidoscopic ambience but they could not meet her demands.

The story revolves around a French citizen of Indian origin who, after his father’s death, comes to India in search of his roots. The story travels from 1980 to 2011. Actor Ajmal plays both father and son. He has earlier acted in ‘Anjathey’ and ‘Ko’. Besides Ajmal, the cast comprises Aparna, M.S. Bhaskar, Srinath, Jagan, Mahadean, Devadarshini, Chethan, Ganesh and Archana Shastri.

The film has been shot in exotic locations in France and Italy. Click the Movie button below for more info:
