Bharath -starrer 'Killadi' in the making

Following "Kallan", "February 14" and "Gajini", he has taken up the production of Vijayakanth-starrer "Sabari", which has been completed and ready for release for Pongal. He is now working on his next venture Bharath-starrer "Killadi".
The shooting of the film, under the direction of A. Venkatesh, is proceeding. Though "Killadi , is an action film, love is its essence. The way the romance component is woven into the screenplay sets this film apart , according to sources.
Barath plays the role of an easy-going college student who takes nothing seriously He adopts a "take-it-easy policy" as do the present-day youth. He takes life's challenges in a playful way. And so he is with his love. His none-too-serious love affair lands him in situations with serious consequences. How he comes out unscathed is narrated in jollity.
Nila pairs with Bharath . Her character typifies a traditional south Indian girl who is a personification of calmness and culture-bound. An ex-heroine also is given an important role. Vivek plays comedian. A new face, Sampath, has been introduced as a villain, in addition to Asish Vidyarthi and many other supporting characters.
Pattukkottai Prabhakar has written the dialogues. He has worked with Venkatesh for the films "Mahaprabhu" and "Bhagavathi".
Srikanth Deva, who has scored the music for Arjun-starrer "Vathiyar" directed by Venkatesh, is the music director for "Killadi" also.. Gopinath is the cinematographer.
Two of the songs written by Srikanth Deva for "Killadi" were filmed in New Zealand. Recently another song sequence was shot on the premises of Binny Mills, Chennai.
Further shooting will take place in Tiruchi, Palani, Pollachi and other places.
Venkatesh told mediapersons that with Hearth , Gopinath and Srikanth Deva teaming up with him for "Killadi", the new venture will add big value to his banner.
