Bhoopathy Pandian signs up Vishal for his next film

Director Boopathy Pandian has announced his next project hardly a fortnight after he had fallen out with producer Ramesh T (Wave 2 Movies) following differences of opinion between them over the script for ‘Jagan Mohan IPS’ with Gopichand and Nayanthara in the lead.

Bhoopathy Pandian has signed up Vishal for his yet-to-be titled film to be produced by Michael Rayappan of ‘Nadodigal’ fame.

Vishal is currently shooting for Thiru’s ‘Samar’ and Sundar C’s ‘Madha Gadha Raja’. Boopathy Pandian’s project with Vishal is touted as an action comedy. The heroine is yet to be finalized and talks are being held with a couple of leading actresses. An official announcement is likely to be made in a few days.

This will be Vishal’s second film to be directed by Bhoopathy, the first being ‘Malaikottai’.

Bhoopathy said after he had opted out of the Gopichand-Nayanthara project, he started working on a new script and Vishal was the first persons to hear it. He immediately gave his nod. The film would go on floors in November. The shooting locations would include Tirunelveli, Karaikudi and Tiruchi.
