Big treat awaits Suriya fans, says Anand

The audio of cinematographer/director K.V. Anand’s ‘Maatraan’ starring Suriya and Kajal Agarwal was launched in Singapore recently. Directors Gautham Vasudev Menon, Lingusamy, Hari and A.L. Vijay received it.

The highlight of the event was a live concert by the music director of the film, Harris Jayaraj and his team. Anjali, Neetu Chandra, Dhanshika, Julia Bliss and Poorna gave dance performances.

There are five songs in the album. ‘Yaaro Yaaro’ sung by Karthik and written by Thamarai emerges as the clear topper.

Producers Kalpathi S. Agoram, Kalpathi S. Suresh and Kalpathi S. Ganesh claimed that the film (about conjoined twins)has all the elements required to make it a commercial blockbuster. Anand has ably executed a script which had complexities in the characterization of its lead actor.

Director Anand said the film has come out well and he is sure Suriya’s fans are in for a big treat.

Suriya said he is sure Maatraan will be a milestone in his career.

Harris Jayaraj said all the songs in the film are situation-oriented and new instruments were used for one of the songs, which would go down well with the audience. Click the Movie button below for more info:
