Billa-2 overseas, satellite rights sold

Ajith-starrer Billa-2, which is nearing completion, has evoked great interest in film trade circles and set to create a new record in terms of revenue. The overseas and satellite rights of the film have already been sold for a price that is about 30 per cent more than what Ajith's 50th film 'Mankatha' fetched. Sources said this is the highest ever price for an Ajith film.

Only the title song with Ajith remains to be filmed. Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is yet to record the track, as he has been preoccupied with other projects. It is said a Bollywood choreographer, most probably Farah Khan, will be engaged for this title song. She has made her mark in Kollywood with her 'Ilaiyana' song for Vijay's latest flick.

Billa-2, directed by Chakri Toleti, has been shot in Goa and Georgia with Parvathy Omanakuttan Nair and Bruna Abdullah in the lead. Interior locations in India and abroad are being considered for shooting the title song.

The film's tagline' Every man has a past. Every don, a history' is what has created the hype and hoopla around it.
