Actor 'Jayam' Ravi and his elder brother Director M.Raja launched on July 16 their fourth film together titled "Santhosh Subramaniam", Tamil remake of the 2006 Telugu smash hit "Bommarillu", starring actor Siddarth of "Boys" fame.

The siblings' earlier films were: "Jayam", "M. Kumaran, s/o Mahalakshmi" and "Something Something Unakkum Enakkum". All these films too were based on borrowed scripts and did well at the box-office.

AGS Entertainment, which produced last year's super hit "Thiruttu Payale", will produce "Santhosh Subramaniam". 'Jayam" Ravi will play the hero. Ganelia D'Souza, who has acted in "Bommarillu", has been retained as the female lead in the Tamil version. Prakash Raj will play the role of the hero's father as in the original.

Ganelia, new to Tamil cinema, came for the 'pooja' and was the centre of attention at the function, which was attended, among others, by actors Dhanush, Jeevan, Sibi, Ramesh, Dhushyanth. Prabhu's son Vikram, directors Dharani, Selva, Kasthuri Raja, producers Rama Narayanan, Mohan, R.B. Chowdhary, lyricist N. Muthukumar, and music director Devi Sri Prasad.

Director M. Raja told mediapersons that though the film is about father-son relationship, it will narrate an extraordinary love story.
