Censors clear 'Bheema'

Vikram – starrier "Bheema" which has been lying in the canes for a long time, has just been cleared by the censors and given "A" certificate.


Directed by Lingusamy, the film is slated for release this Pongal. "Bheema", said to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller, has Trisha playing opposite Vikram with Prakash Raj playing the bad guy.


The music by Harris Jayaraj, released a few months ago has received excellent response. No Vikram films have been released in the last two years and the scheduling of long-awaited "Bheema" for Pongal release, has come as some good news for the actor's fans.


Besides "Bheema", the harvest festival will witness some big movies hitting the screens. More than half a dozen movies will be in the race.


Notable among them will be:



  • Madhavan-starrer "Vazhthukkal" directed by Seeman

  • Mysskin's "Anjathe",

  • "Pirivom Sandhippom" featuring Cheran and Sneha,

  • Jayam Ravi's "Dham Dhoom, and

  • "Veda" starring Arun Vijay and Sheela.
