'Chandramukhi', the audio champ

Chennai, May 4 (IANS) The audio of "Chandramukhi" is doing well because the film is a success. Here's a list of the Tamil top five albums:

1. "Chandramukhi" (Vidyasagar): "Devuda Devuda" by S.P. Balasubramaiam has become a huge hit. It was the only huge hit with the listeners till the film hit the theatres. Now that the film is doing roaring business in theatres, all the other songs have also become very popular.

2. "Sachein" (Devisri Prasad): The music of "Sachein" by Devisri Prasad is doing well unlike his earlier compositions for the film "Maayaavi". What has hit the spot is "Va Va Va En Thalaiva" by Shankar Mahadevan. Vijay's "Vaadi Vaadi" too is a huge success with his young fans.

3. "Arindhum Ariyamalum" (Yuvan Shankar Raja): Yuvan is back with another album which is sure to be a winner. Its songs are already topping the charts.

4. "Kanaa Kandein" (Vidyasagar): The audio of "Kana Kandein", a film by noted cinematographer K.V. Anand, has just been launched - and in no time at all, its music, composed by Vidyasagar, is capturing the hearts and minds of the populace.

5. "Mumbai Xpress" (Ilaiyaraja): Ilaiyaraja will not be very proud of "Mumbai Xpress". Yes, the film is not exactly a musical, but its songs except "Yelae Nee Yettipoo" are just average.
