Cheran's Dream Theatres presents Muran

Cheran, the director of Vettrikodi Kattu, Pandavar Bhoomi, Autograph, Thavamai Thavamirundhu and the recent Pokkisham, will start a new project Muran. To be made in a huge budget, the movie would star Cheran and Prasanna in the lead roles. Muran will also features two newcomers as heroines and Jayaprakash playing a key role.


Wielding the megaphone would be Rajjan Madhav, son of acclaimed Malayalam music composer Raveendran. Rajjan Madhav has worked as co-director to filmmaker Mysskin for Anjathae Nandhalala and Yudhan Sei. Scoring music would be Rajjan's brother Sajjan Madhav.


Muran is about contrasting characters that we come across in their life and what happens between those characters forms the story. It would be narrated in an entertaining manner.


Prasanna who played a powerful role in Anjadhae, will repeat the act in Muran. Planned for a release in January, 2011, the movie would go to floors this August and would wind up by November.


Natrajan Pazhani would be executive producer and the production is by Cheran. Story, screenplay, dialogue and direction are by Rajjan Madhav.
