Dhanush signs Sarkunam's 'Sotta Vazhakutty'

Actor Dhanush will star in Director Sarkunam’s next film with a quirky title ‘Sotta Vazhakutty’.

What is the meaning of the title? Sarkunam explains, just like how we say ‘super figure’ to describe a beautiful girl, ‘Sotta Vazhakutty’ is a colloquial term used in rural Tamil Nadu to describe a charming man.

Sarkunam, who won the national award for his ‘Vaagai Sooda Va’ told the media that Dhanush has agreed to play the lead in his next film and has signed the project. They are yet to finalise the producer.

‘Sotta Vazhakutty’ will be a romantic comedy like ‘Kalavani’, which was Sarkunam’s debut feature film.

While Dhanush, who also won the national award for ‘Aadukalam’, will play the lead, the rest of the cast, including the heroine, and the crew are being finalized.
