Dhanush to do a film for UTV

Actor Dhanush has agreed to do a film for UTV, the corporate house's south business head Dhananjayan confirms.

He says UTV will finalise details once Dhanush , who has been hearing scripts, decides on one of them. Dhananjayan is hopeful of launching the project by the end of this year.

While Dhanush's 'Mayakkam Enna' is ready for release, he is currently working on wife Aishwarya's '3'.

A national award winner, Dhanush will also be working with director Chimbudevan for 'Mareesan', a fantasy flick.

Producer Aascar Ravichadran has signed up Dhanush for his next project. He will announce the name of the film and its director soon.

Ravichandran is the producer of Vijay-starrer 'Velayudham' a Deepavali release reportedly doing well at the box office.

He denied that he is producing 'Mareesan' to be directed by Chimbudevan.
