Dhanush's 'Sachin Anthem' out on You Tube

Actor Dhanush released his album titled 'Sachin Anthem' through You Tube on Feb 8 evening. Within minutes thousands of fans watched it and went ecstatic, it is gathered.

The album dedicated to the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar was produced by 'Boost'. Velraj handled the camera.

Actress Anushka, music director Anirudh and many other artistes are featured in the dance numbers in the album. They are shown as singing and dancing at a railway station.

In his comment after the release of the album, Dhanush sounded modest saying it is an offering to extraordinary Sachin from ordinary fans.

Dhanush conceived the project on the all-time great cricketer buoyed by the incredible success of 'Why this kolaveri di?' a soup song he sang for his wife Aishwarya's first directorial venture '3' in which he is paired up with Shruti Haasan. Twenty-year-old Anirudh set the Tanglish song to music. When it was released on the internet it instantly went viral catapulting Dhanush to national fame. He recently signed a Hindi film titled 'Raanjhnaa' to be directed by Anand L. Rai.
