Director A.M. Bhaskar launches 'SIM Card'

Director A.M. Bhaskar has launched his latest film 'SIM Card'. Ramprasad, son of Nalinikanth, and Aashika are playing the lead roles. A new face is a 15-year-old Sadiq Hassan. He has scored fiver songs for the movie. Bhaskar says he has found the boy after an extensive search for a new face and he is a talented teen.


The story of SIM Card has not taken the beaten track. It is a new plot with two different stories woven into it. A newly married couple goes on a moneymoon when the husband goes missing. Suspecting foul play, a police officer arrests two persons on suspicion but inquiries reveal they are innocent film directors. Unable to track down the real culprits, the police officer ask them to come up with all possible angles to the case. The directors give two different stories.The film has these two stories run concurrently. Clues, which the film directors’ theories yield, help the police officer to reach the incontrovertible conclusions.


According to Bhaskar, the film is of course a thriller with a new dimension.


The film will be shot in Kerala.
