Director Vetrimaran starts production company

Director Vetrimaran has started own production enterprise in the name of 'Grassroot Film Company'.

Vetrimaran has directed Dhanush-starrer 'Polladavan' and 'Aadukalam' winning appreciation from all sides. His next directorial venture is Simbu-starrer 'Vada Chennai' (North Madras).

Not stopping with direction, he has embarked on film production.

Confirming that he has started 'Grassroot Film Company, Vetrimaran said the first film to be produced by this company will be one directed by his assistant Mani. Vetrimaran has written the story and screenplay for this new movie starring Siddharth. The names of other actors and actress are yet to be finalized.

He said the shooting of 'Vada Chennai' would start next month. Besides Simbu, a new actor will be roped in. All those acting in the film will have new looks and work in this area is in progress.
