E - How an urchin makes it big

Jeeva and Nayanthara are playing the lead roles in Super Good Films new venture 'E' ,being directed by S.P. Jhananathan. R.B. Cbowdary is the producer.

'E' stands of Eswaran, the hero. It is all about the exploits of an urchin who makes it big in life. Outlining the story, Jhananathan said that a petty thief, Eswaran ,is in jail and Nayanthara comes to his help when he is produced in court. Jhananathan's earlier venture "Eyarkai' won the national award.

Jhananathan talked to mediapersons after a couple of shots on location at St.George School near Pachaiyappa's college, Chennai, which was all painted red and transformed into a court where Eswaran was produced . Ekambaram handled the camera.

Director Jhananathan is the author of the story and has written the dialogue also.

The screenplay is by Kalyana Krishnan.

Both Jeeva and Nayanathara talked to media persons at the shooting and expressed happiness about their roles. Nayanthara said she got a good role and is confident of proving her talent.

The cast includes Pasupathi, Ashish Vidyarthi and Karunas. Parvathi, junior artiste for twenty years, is given the role of the hero's grandmother.

Srikanth Deva has provided the music and V.T. Vijayan is in charge of editing.
