Film on cyber crime titled 'Aen Inda Mayakkam'

The growing incidence of cyber crime has made the Government sit up and take notice of it. It is considering legislative measures to regulate the Internet and social networking. A nation-wide debate is going on for and against such regulation, as it is tantamount to curbing the freedom of expression.

A film titled ‘Aen Inda Mayakkam’ being produced by M. Antony on behalf of Rainbow Creations may have a bearing on the subject.

Rajivkumar plays the hero and Raththiya and Sorna are the heroines. Vignesa and Della are doing important characters in this film directed by Prabhu Deva’s assistant Shakti Vasanth Prabhu.

Siddarth Babu makes his debut as music director. Velmurugan is the cinematographer.

The film is fast developing. It is being shot at locations in Chennai, Puducherry, Yercaud, Thaandikudi near Dindigul.

Talking about the film, director says there is no one who does not have a cellphone these days. From students to old people, it has become an addiction. So is the Internet and social networking like Facebook and Twitter. As a result, the incidence of cyber crime has been on the increase. The film tells how abuse of these communication tools impact society.
