Finally, Sona and Charan make peace

Sep 30, 2011 PS

After weeks of allegations, counter questioning and an uneasy calm amongst mutual friends of actress Sona Heiden and SP Charan, the duo have come to an understanding.

Thanks to a close friend of the SPB family, it seems Sona agreed to meet up with Charan and talk through their concerns. The friend, who is socialite Manju Aggarwal says, "Sona is an old friend of mine and SP Charan is known to my family through singer Mano. It was painful to see the media hype and personal lives being dragged into public glare. My husband Dinesh and I wanted a peaceful solution, so I helped them meet up at my place and sorted it out. They are both intelligent people,".

Emotionally moved and tired from all the hype surrounding a police case, legal ramifications and health issues, now Sona says, "I have immense respect for SP Balasubramanyam. Out of courtesy I agreed to meet with Charan. To my surprise, there were minor issues which got out of proportion due to certain people with vested interests playing between us. I have made peace with Charan,".

Sona who had planned a Dharna outside Charan's house called it off and said, "It was a wise move as there is no need to inconvenience families and the general public. Now, I am happy that things have reached a logical conclusion,". She adds, "I don't know why Venkat Prabhu never stood by me through all this. Everyone knows the true colours of certain people now and the future will decide their status in the industry,".

SP Charan who kept a dignified silence through out, opened up and said, "It was a very trying time for my entire family. It brought us closer and made us stronger. I have not tendered any apology but we have sorted out our issues amicably. I want to put this behind me and introspect about the lessons learnt from this unfortunate incident in all our lives,".

Singer Mano is said to have approached Manju Aggarwal and requested her to sort out the issue. Charan, Sona, Mano and family members spent nearly six hours in Manju Aggarwal's house on J.J. Road, Chennai, discussing the issues and finally celebrated over red wine.
