Friedship Day brings Simbu, Nayan together

Simbu and Nayanthara have become friends again forgetting the past and looking to the future. Reports from Hyderabad confirm that the two met there on Friendship Day and tied friendship bands on each other’s arm. An overjoyed Simbu even uploaded pictures of them on his social networking page.

Nayan fell out with Simbu a long time back after having been intimate friends. What caused the rift between them was attributed to differences of opinion. Their friendship so badly soured that they stopped talking to each other. Simbu openly expressed his pain and anguish. Attempts at rapprochement only made matters worse and he was virtually traumatized.

After remaining quiet for one year, Nayanthara started her love saga with Prabhu Deva which led them up to the altar of bliss. She stopped in her tracks short of the designated destiny, plunging the dagger into the heart of her boyfriend. By then he had disowned his married wife and got separated from his children. Still the romantic heart of Nayanthara could not bear her ‘would-be’ continue cozying up to his kids. She told him enough was enough and returned to action. And, stars smiled on her.

After having gone so far to prove his credentials, Prabhu could not find his way back. He left Kollywood and migrated to Bollywood leaving behind bitter memories.

As he keeps brooding in Mumbai and as Nayan is basking in her comeback filmy glory, she again, accidentally or incidentally, crossed her good old chum Simbu’s path in Hyderabad and a Friendship Day miracle turned them friends again.

Playing down the euphoria their déjà vu created in social circles, happy as he is with seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, Simbu went on record saying,” Nayan is good at heart. We are only friends. Don’t try to twist it into a love story. Professionally we have been friends. We talked about cinema, common friends, and our lives …no differences of opinion. She continues her work in cinema and my best wishes to her.” A fresh beginning for the agonized souls?
