Penn Singam, a movie that focuses on the issue of women's rights and directed by Bali Srirangam has Uday Kiran and Meera Jasmine in the lead roles. The story, screenplay and dialogues have been penned by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M.Karunanidhi. Actress Rohini who plays a lawyer in the film said, "It was a big challenge to act in the scenes and speak the dialogues penned by a literary genius like the CM. There have been times when we have shot till four in the morning, but all the actors were keen on getting their lines and expressions right."


Says Uday Kiran, "I have dubbed for my character. For a particular scene, there was this dialogue running into four pages. I was apprehensive of my Tamil, but after I understood the powerful dialogues penned by the CM, I was able to deliver the scene without any problems." Click the Movie button below for more info:
