G.N. Rangarajan's son takes up direction
Oct 24, 2008 PVSG.N.R. Kumaravel, son of G.N. Rangarajan who directed "Kalyanaraman", "Meendum Kokila", "Kadal Meengal", "Maharajan" and other popular films, is making his debut as a director.
The first film to be directed by Kumaravel is titled "Ninaithaale Inikkum" with Prithviraj and Priyamani as the lead characters. The others in the cast include Shakthi, Karthik, Vishnu, Manobala, Ilavarasan and Mangai Jeeva.
Several years ago veteran K. Balachander had directed a film with the same title. Both Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth starred in this super-hit film.
The new "Ninaithaale Inikkum" is a campus story which portrays college life and its memories.
While Balasubramaniam is the cinematographer, Vijay Antony composes music.
The producer is Gemini Films Circuit, which made "Vasoolraja MBBS".
