Ganesh Vinayak to direct Arulnidhi

Director Vinayak Acharya has been signed up by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's production house for a film, which will have Arulnidhi in the lead. The actor's last film was 'Mounaguru' which was acclaimed as a 'sleeper hit'.

Ganesh Vinayak part-directed 'Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal' starring Atharvaa and Amala Paul before producer Kumar took over the project.

The film to be directed by Ganesh Vinayak and produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri, is set in Madurai. It is about the lives of four friends played by Arulnidhi, Pawan (one of the villains in Polladavan), Dharun Shathriya (Aanmai Thavarel fame) and Murugadoss (Aadukalam). The film may go on floors by June.

There was talk that 'Naan Kadavul' fame Pooja had signed to play the heroine. Latest reports say she is working on Bala's film and she has no dates in June for any new film.

It is now rumored that Parvathy Omanakuttan may be approached. She has made her Kollywood debut in Billa 2.
