'Garudapaarvai' is a story of nocturnal murders at a motel

Vivehanandan, who was an assistant to Director Ameer, has embarked on a directorial venture and his first project is ‘Garudapaarvai’. Interestingly, he plays the lead role in the film. He has also written the story, screenplay and dialogue, besides editing.



Vivehanandan has introduced new faces Puja Vijayan, Ramamurthi Yadav, Sheela, Gandhi, Ravi, Babuji and Yogesh in the film.



The Andhra Pradesh Government’s Nandi award winner K.C.T. Diva is the cinematographer. Shajahan is the music director.



The shooting is over and the film will be released soon, Vivehanandan said.



Giving an outline of the story, he said the film is an action thriller. A politician occupies a cemetery where thousands of British soldiers and prisoners of war were buried during the British period. He builds a motel at the site abutting a national highway. On one night when rain is lashing 11 lodgers get murdered one by one during a period of six hours from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Who is behind these serial killings at the motel _ whether it a man or an evil spirit? It is a gripping story of suspense.



The 150-minute film is set in rain all through the story. A motel-like set was erected at a cost of Rs. 25 lakh at Pudumbu in Madurai for the shooting of the film. The background score was recorded in a studio in Mumbai by overseas technicians. Click the Movie button below for more info:
