Gautham Menon's production house goes international

Photon Kathaas Productions (PKP) is a dream comes true for Gautham Menon who is keen on taking south Indian cinema to a global audience. PKP has been listed on the AIM market in London, making it the first publicly traded south Indian based film production company on an international stock exchange. Music maestro, A.R. Raman is the Chief creative mentor and Advisor to PKP. Supporting Gautham Menon are his co-promoters Venkat Somasundaram and Reshma Ghatala.

Gautham Menon says, 'I will be directing films exclusively for PKP and have also roped in other directors to make films under this banner. Our current production slate includes 'Azhagar Saamiyin Kuthirai' (directed by Susindaran), Veppam (directed by Anjana). Besides, there are my own films namely, 'Nadunisi Naaygal' and the Hindi remake of VTV in association with Fox Star Studios.'

'As an aspiring film director at 25, I was unsure of being a part of the magical world of cinema,' says the director.

'Today, with ten films behind me, I know with certainty that it was this industry that has made me who I am.'
