Following "Anniyan","Ullam Ketkumae", "Thotti Jaya", Harris Jayaraj is back with five foot-tapping numbers for "Ghajini". The movie is a blend of rock and soft songs. The album is more of racy numbers and has not much of soft numbers.

Oru Maalai

This is the first number of the album and is a typical western one. It starts on a slow note and later picks the momentum. The song has catchy beats apt to catch the listener's attraction.

X-Machi

The song is a fusion with a Latin American flavor. It has a racy rhythm with effective percussion. It is unique and unlikely of Harris’ style.

Suttum Vizhi

It is a Bharathiar number; however it is different from that of A R Rehman's in “Kandukondein”. It is a classical and western fusion. However, Bombay Jayashree's voice lacks her usual energy.

Rahatulla

Another racy number and is surely to top the charts. It has a youthful chorus to accompany, which adds sheen to the song.

Rangola

This is a fast paced earthy number and resembles to Harris's “Randaka Randaka” in “Anniyan”.

Overall, “Ghajini” is an honest effort.
