Gnanavel Raja buys Hindi remake rights of 'Mankatha'

Producer Gnanavel Raja has bought the rights to remake in Hindi Ajith's 50th film 'Mankatha' which is a box office hit in Tamil Nadu.



Gnanavel Raja has earlier presented 'Siruthai','Singam', and 'Naan Mahaan'-all smash hits.



He told mediapersons that his production house has bought the Hindi remake rights of 'Mankatha' and they will soon be taking it to Bollywood. The cast and crew for the Hindi version are yet to be finalized. He is working on the finer details now and the official announcement will be made after Nov.15.



'Mankatha' in Tamil, produced by Venkat Prabhu, had,,besides Ajith, Arjun, Trisha, Andrea, Premgi, Vaibhav, Anjali, Mahat, Subbu Arunachalam and Ashwin.



It was Gnanavel Raja who was to have released 'Mankatha' in Tamil Nadu, but eventually Radhikaa pipped him at the post.
