Government post for Vijay's mom Shoba

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa seems to have given a surprise gift to Vijay for the support extended by him to her party during this year's Assembly elections.

She has announced that Vijay's mother and a Classical singer Shobha Chandrasekhar will be appointed as advisors to Tamil Nadu Music College. She would be part of preparing curriculum and advisor to the activities of the music college in 17 places across the State.

Shobha has rendered live music concerts and has released many devotional and music albums.
