GV Prakash, on the rural route

Music composer G V Prakash is on an all-time high. After all, he has been signed by veteran director Bharathiraaja for his forthcoming period venture.

GV wrote on his micro-blogging page, "I just signed a film under Bharathiraaja sir's direction. He's come up with a promising earthly script in his own style. I'm looking forward to it,". The veteran filmmaker is working on a period flick, reportedly titled 'Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum'. While it was earlier rumoured that Bharathiraaja would join hands with Ilaiyaraaja and Vairamuthu again for this film, it has come as a pleasant surprise for many that he's roped in the young and vibrant composer, GV Prakash. With this film, it seems like the music director is taking a career diversion into the rural route, post the success of 'Aadukalam'.
