Hansika plays 'dada' in Simbu's 'Vettai Mannan'

Hansika Motwani, who has made a name for herself in Kollywood, has revealed that she is playing the character of a 'dada' in 'Vettai Mannan', which has Simbu as the hero.

Her earlier films were 'Paavadai Daavani' and the latest Vijay-starrer 'Velayudham'.

Nelson is directing 'Vettai Mannan' and Shakthi is the cinematographer.

The shooting is going on in a massive set near Meenambakkam. She says she plays 'dada' _ a character she is doing for the first time. Though Deeksha Seth (who plays opposite Vikram in 'Rajapattai) is also featured in the film, the character she (Hansika) plays is one that will be impressive. Moreover, acting with Simbu is a new experience for her, she adds.

According to Hansika, the shooting of her another film 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' is over and only song sequences remain to be filmed.
