Hansika signs up for Simbu film

Hansika has signed up for an action-packed film titled 'Vettai Mannan' featuring Simbu in the lead.

She will play the gangster in the new film.

When approached by media persons, she has refused to reveal details of the project. She would only say that she had been approached for 'Vettai Mannan' thrice earlier and because of date problems she could not respond positively though she liked the story much.

The actress is now busy with her next Telugu venture 'Oh My Friend' in which she plays opposite Siddharth. Shruti Haasan is the female lead.

Hansika is also shooting for Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi'.

She and Genelia D Souza are cast opposite Vijay in 'Velayudham' which is slated for Deepavali release. She has also denied rumours that she had problems working with Genelia on the sets.
