'I follow MGR formula', says Vijay

Thrilled at the bumper opening for his Deepavali release 'Velayudham', actor Vijay has thanked all his fans for their massive support which has led his film to attain the status of a block buster.

While speaking about this, Vijay said, ''The movie was a wholesome entertainer and I thoroughly enjoyed doing it. Though my formula has failed to hit the bull's eye in the recent days, director Jayam Raja managed to drive it to success with 'Velayudham'.''

Whether he was following the MGR formula in his movies?. ''It is a success formula and there is nothing wrong in following it. Everyone would love to go that way'', he gushes.
