The shooting of Baba Sathya Sai, directed by Kodi Ramakrishna kicked off in Chennai, last week. The muhurat was graced by Tamilnadu Governor K Rosaiah and maestro Ilayaraja.

The film is based on the life of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthy, who passed away recently. Ramakrishna had been to Puttaparthy and did intense research before commencing with the project. It will be made in five languages including Tamil and Telugu. "I am happy and thrilled to score music for the movie. It is a blessing in disguise for me," says Ilayaraja.

''This film will showcase the services done by Sai Baba and his love for the people. Puttaparthy became world famous only due to Satyasai. We are making this film in many languages. A prominent actor is going to essay the role of Sathya sai. We will announce the complete details of it soon,'' says Kodi Ramakrishna.
