“I will set my foot in Bollywood next year,” actor Jiiva told mediapersons in Chennai.

The actor, who has played the superhero in Director Mysskin’s ‘Mugamoodi’, said acting in this film is a matter of pride for him. It was Mysskin’s motivation and encouragement that helped him do the character unmindful of the hardships that the role entailed. He shot for 20 days wearing the superman costume, which weighed 11 kilograms. He developed rashes all over the body due to the heat. The body would turn red once the costume was taken off. “Though I have done the character with much difficulty, I am happy to think of the praise when the film is released. Children will start calling me Superman Uncle.”.

He said he is busy working on ‘Neethane En Ponvasantham’, ‘Endrendrum Punnagai’ ‘David’ and Ravi K. Chandran’s film. He is nearing 23 films. He wishes that his 25th film would be for the children and he is looking for a script.

He said Part 2 and Part 3 of ’Mugamoodi’ are planned and he would love to act in them also. “Next year I will set foot in Bollywood.” He pointed out that Ravi K. Chandran’s movie would be produced in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
