Kajal Agharwal in 'Singam' Bollywood remake

We all know that the super hit film 'Singam' is being remade in Hindi, with Ajay Devgan in the lead role. After much hype, Kajal Agharwal bagged the heroine's role in the remake. Earlier, Anushka and Asin were approached but Kajal finally landed the role. And of course, this is Kajal's debut film in Hindi.

Says the pretty actress,'' Director Rohit Shetty called me and gave me this opportunity to play the lead role. He was impressed with my performance in the Telugu film 'Magadheera'. He even told me that only after watching the film, he decided to cast me in this remake. I am looking forward to acting with Ajay Devgan. I had some date problems, but I managed to adjust my schedule, as this is a golden opportunity. The project will kick- start by the end of March''.
