Kamal Haasan in the remake of Malaylam film 'Traffic'

After 'Manmadhan Ambu', Kamal Hassan was supposed to act in 'Viswaroobam' directed by Selvaraghavan. The shooting of the film was supposed to take place in the United States of America for 40 days. Unfortunately, the American Consulate in Chennai has denied the visa for the cast and crew.

As of now, the film was shelved for time being and director Selvaraghavan is now busy shooting 'Erandam Ulagam' which has Dhanush and Andrea in the lead. And now actor Kamal Hassan has made an announcement that he will be acting in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam super hit film 'Traffic'.

He said," I liked the story very much. I am interested to act in this film. Except Rahman, everyone who had acted in the Malayalam film will act in this remake version too. I will don the lead role, which Rahman did in the original version. To say the truth, that particular role made a great impact on me. The shooting of this will commence soon."
