‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Haasan released the audio of ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom” and unit members received it.

Produced by V.S. Rajkumar under the banner of Leo Vision and directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan, the film hasVijay Sethupathi and Gayathri in the lead. Ved Shankar, a sound engineer and student of A.R. Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory, is the music director, while Siddarth Vippin has composed the background score. C. Premkumar is the cameraman.

‘Execuse Me, Sir,’, written by Karthik Netha and sung by Mano, is rated the best of the five tracks. Ved Shankar himself has sung a number. ‘Omelette Potta…’, quirky one-liners in sync with the film’s theme, has been written by the fans on FaceBook. The theme song ‘Medulla Oblongata’ is a catchy number in the chart.

The film is based on a dark period in cameraman Premkumar’s real life. He lost his memory in an accident to which director Tharaneetharan and Bhagavathi, a mutual friend, were witness. Premkumar did not regain his memory for years despite medical treatment. A man who forgets the happenings during a period is like a book with some pages in the middle missing. The sreenplay has a liberal dose of comedy. Tharaneetharan says the film is a new attempt in Tamil cinema.

Vijay Sethupathi plays the character of Premkumar and Rajkumar that of Tharaneetharan. Some of those connected with the dark chapter of Premkumar’s life are also part of the film.
