If reports have to be believed, Kamal Haasan is planning a mega-budget multi-starrer flick under his own direction. Kamal's film is expected to have a budget of around 200 crores. It would be Kamal Haasan's 4th directorial venture after 'Chachi 420', 'Hey Ram' and 'Virumaandi'.

The film is expected to have a cast comprising Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, Tamil heartthrob Suriya and Telugu superstar Ravi Teja along with Kamal Haasan. Bollywood beauties Deepika Padukone, Genelia D'Souza and South Cinema's darling Trisha are expected to play the female leads. There are speculations that a big Bollywood actor also may be cast in this mega venture.

Mohanlal had worked with Kamal in his previous film, the critically acclaimed 'Unnaipol Oruvan' and Suriya sees Kamal as his idol. It would be the first time that such a huge multi-starrer would be coming out in South Indian Cinema. The film will be scripted by Kamal himself once he is done with the work of his current project 'Manmadhan Ambu', with KS Ravikumar.

Kamal's earlier directorial venture 'Hey Ram' had stars from all parts of India like Shahrukh Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Hema Malini, Girish Karnad and Om Puri. With target markets in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and even Bollywood, an official announcement of this project is expected soon.
