"The difference between love and dream may seem less, but in fact the two are poles apart. That is the bottom-line of the story of 'Pirivom Sandipppom"' says the director. It has got a powerful subject where a third dimension of love is revealed. It will be a mass entertainer and everyone will enjoy it, Karu Palaniappan claims. He has written the story, screenplay and dialogue.

Cheran is reportedly so impressed with the script that he has given bulk dates to Karu Palaniappan. Vidyasagar scores the music.Yugabharathi, Pa. Vijai and Kabilan write the songs. M.S. Prabhu is the cameraman.
