Khushboo plays Dileep's mother-in-law

Actress Khushboo, hot in the political circles in Tamil Nadu, will soon be turning into the mother-in-law in a Malayalam movie. The fiery actress has been roped in for a Malayalam movie titled 'Mr.Marumakan', in which she plays the headstrong young mother-in-law of Malayalam star Dileep.

The movie is directed by Sandhya Mohan. An interesting aspect is that Dileep played an ardent fan of Khusboo in his 1994 flick 'Manathe Kottaram'. Sanusha of 'Renigunta' fame plays Dileep's love interest in this film. Moreover, veteran director turned actor Bhagyaraj is also making his Malayalam debut with this film and will be seen playing Khusboo's better half.

Khushboo, who is in the midst of hectic preparations for her maiden campaign for DMK for the forthcoming elections in Tamil Nadu, says,'' Yes. I am really excited about the movie. I have done 11 Malayalam movies so far, including a guest role in Renjith's film. Malayalam films always offer me challenging roles and that's why I agreed to play Dileep's mother-in-law. The story revolves around a young mother-in-law, and her son-in-law. It's a fascinating script''. She also made it clear that she wouldn't be dubbing for her role. '' I can manage Tamil, but Malayalam is very tough,'' she clarifies.
