'Kizhakku Sivakkaiyile' is true life story

'Kizhakku Sivakkaiyile' is based on a true life story. The episode happened 60 years ago near Ilayaankudi in Sivagangai district.

Michael Raj is directing the film. He has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues.

The characters are a young girl who is eager to start her life, a youth who is already in despair even before tasting life, and a woman in her prime whose life is a sad saga.. The film depicts the struggle between them.

'Maana Mylaada' fame Arun plays the lead role. He has acted in 'Vanathaipola' and 'Engal Anna' as child Vijayakanth. As a child artiste, he has more than 40 films to his credit. They included K. Balachander's 'Oru Veedu Oru Vasal' and Kalaignar's 'Pudiya Parasakthi'.

Arun is paired up with Abhinitha, Sindhu and Keerthi, all new faces.

J.R. Antony is the cinematographer and S.A.T. Kumar is the music director.

Maruthupandian and K.S. Karthik are the producers.

The shooting is progressing in locations near Ilyaankudi.
