'Kuselan' sold for Rs.64 crores

The international entertainment company, Pyramid Saimira, has bought the theatrical rights of Rajinikanth-starrer "Kuselan" for Rs 64 crores.

It had been announced that producer K. Balachander had decided to sell the rights in auction.

A remake of the Malayalam hit "Katha Parayumbol", the Tamil film "Kuselan" is directed by P. Vasu.

Balachander's Kavithalaya and Seven Arts are the joint producers.

The cast includes Pasupathy, Vadivelu, Meena and Nayanthara.

The shooting is in progress and expected to be completed soon.
