Lifetime Achievement Award for AR Rahman

A.R. Rahman, 'the Mozart of Madras', will be honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 8th International Dubai Film Festival.

The Mega Grand Event will be held from December 7-14, 2011 at Dubai. The event would bridge different cultures, ethnicities and minds. The Oscar Winner who has already won various prestigious awards thanks god for all the success.

AR Rahman who has recently finished composing for 'Ek Dheewana Tha', the Hindi version of super hit 'Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya', is awaiting the album's release. 'Ek Dheewana Tha' is expected to release in January 2012. AR Rahman will next be working on Rajinikanth's 'Rana'.
