Lingusamy started his next venture 'Vettai'

His movies might be packed with action and spicy masala, but it seems director Lingusamy firmly believes in starting a film on a soothing and happy note.

The director recently began shooting of his next venture 'Vettai', starring Arya, Madhavan, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in Karaikudi and the first sequence he shot was that of a song. Says the director, '' Yuvan Shankar Raja has given some rough tunes for the film. So, we decided to shoot a song featuring the film's four lead actors on day one of the schedule. The lyrics of the song, 'Dum Dum Damma...,' have been penned by Na Muthukumar. And dance master Brinda choreographed the sequence with almost 2,000 dancers. Arya, Maddy, Sameera and Amala had an amazing time dancing with such a crowd''.
