'Manam Kothi Paravai' shot in two villages

Siva Karthikeyan, who stars in Director Ezhil's 'Manam Kothi Paravai', has given more details about the film. He is Kollywood's new find after his touching performance in Pandiraj's 'Marina'.


The film, which is set in a village, has been shot at Ezhil's native place Kayathur, near Mayavaram and Siva Karthikeyan's Thiruvizhimizhalai.


It is a romantic comedy. Siva plays the role of a youngster who has just had his diploma. He has the tendency to exaggerate things with lies, which at one stage complicate issues posing a big problem. How Siva deals with it is the story.



Siva plays opposite debutante Aathmiya.


Director Ezhil has completed the shooting of the film and it awaits release. Ezil has gone on record as saying that all his films; 'MKP' is the ultimate in providing entertainment. He has mixed family drama, love and comedy. "I would give 100 per cent guarantee for maximum comedy," he asserted.


Ezhil has already made his mark with Vijay-starrer 'Thullatha Manamum Thullum', Sarathkumar-Prabhu Deva-starrer 'Pennin Manaththai Thottu', Ajith-starrer 'Poovellam Un Vasam' and Jayaram Ravi-starrer 'Deepavali'.


After being out of action for many years, Ezhil has directed 'Manam Koththi Paravai'. Ilavarasi, Suri, Ravimaria, Kishore, Aadukalam Narain, V.A. Murthy and Singampuli are among those cast in the film. Suraj Nallusamy cranked the camera.


Ezhil, Ambedkumar and A. Ranjimenon have jointly produced the film for Olympia Movies.


The film has five songs set to music by D.Imman.
