Mani ropes in Yuvan Shankar Raja

Mani Ratnam has roped in Yuvan Shankar Raja to score music for his next Hindi film 'Paki'. Mani Ratnam's favorite composer A R Rehman has been left out this time for reasons unknown. Buzz in Tamil Cinema trade circle is that Mani Ratnam has written a script and it will be directed by one of Mani's assistants Shiva Kumar. Shaad Ali will be the executive producer.

Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi who played the lead in Tamil remake of Alaipayuthey, will be playing the lead in this film. This will be Vivek's second film with Mani Ratnam, the first being Yuva. Paki is a film, which is a biopic of one Mani Ratnam's real life friends who lives in UK.

And for Yuvan Shankar Raja this will be his debut in Bollywood.
