Manivannan to have Sathyaraj in his 50th film

Director Manivannan is all set to make his 50th film teaming up with veteran actor Sathyaraj. Manivannan has taken a break from cinema for the last couple of years.

Manivannan is still remembered for his ‘Amaidhi Padai’ featuring Sathyaraj. The movie was a big hit. The buzz is that Manivannan’s next film will be a sequel to ‘Amaidhi Padai’.

Sathyaraj has confirmed that he will be playing the lead in his friend’s 50th film. Though they are considering making a sequel to ‘Amaidhi Padai’, they have not yet decided on a script. They should first be confident about the script before proceeding on the sequel, he said.

According to Manivannan, his new film will be a political satire but technically it can be said that it will be a sequel to ‘Amaidhi Padai’ The film will be a hard-hitting satire on today’s politics in a matrix that will appeal to the present generation.

Interestingly, Manivannan’s son Raghuvannan and director/actor Seeman will play key roles in the new film.
