'Marupadiyum Oru Kathal': Love across frontiers

Quite recently Marupadiyum Oru Kathal was launched in Chennai, a film that narrates on celluloid the story of love that transcends political frontiers.

The film tells the story of a Tamil boy and a Sri Lankan girl and is directed by debutante Vasu Bhaskar, who is one of the producers too.

Produced jointly by Connect Film Media and Bollywood Cine Productions (UK) Ltd., Marupadiyum Oru Kathal has as the hero Aniruddh, a Malayalam actor who has hitherto been known in Malayalam as Saiju Kurup. The heroine of the film would be Josna, another debutante. Josna is the daughter of actress Saroja, who made her entry in Tamil films in the 1980's.

Marupadiyum Oru Kathal, which features script by the director himself, cinematography by Kannan and music by Sreekanth Deva, would be shot in Chennai, Pondicherry and also in some European countries.
