Meera Chopra accused in a murder case?

Nila alias Meera Chopra, Priyanka Chopra's cousin, who was once a familiar face in Kollywood and in Tollywood, appeared more often in the news for getting embroiled in one controversy after another, than for her onscreen presence.

Now, the actress seems to be caught in another scandal. Buzz has it that Nila is allegedly on the wanted list of the Delhi Police for a murder case. According to news reports, the Delhi police wanted to question the actress in connection with the death of a 28-year-old married woman Ruchi Bhuttan, who was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her house in Delhi. After complaints were received from Ruchi's relatives, the police reportedly registered a case and enquired about her husband Sumit, the reports said. According to sources, Sumit Bhuttan was in a relationship with Nila. Ruchi, allegedly learnt of her husband's extra marital affair, and was constantly fighting with him about it. Now after Ruchi's death, the cops have supposedly linked Nila to the case. The police is yet to confirm her involvement in this case. However, she was unavailable to comment.

After she made her Tollywood debut in the Pawan Kalyan-starrer "Bangaram", the actress did a couple of films in Tamil too including 'Anbae Aruyirae' with SJ Suryaa and 'Lee' with Sibiraj and a bilingual, 'Jaganmohni' with Namitha.
